Bio
Paula Giangreco Cullison, a native New Yorker, has resided in Phoenix since 1974. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology - Baruch College City University of New York; was awarded an AIESEC traineeship to Switzerland; and has studied Italian and Art History in Italy. Cullison is a recipient of the Susan B. Anthony Award for her civic involvement, the Susan G. Komen Award for her advocacy efforts and the Impact award for her community service. She was a finalist for the Athena Award from the Phx Chamber of Commerce, served on the Phx Women’s Commission and the Phx Futures Forum. She has an extensive background in management, marketing, fundraising, public and community relations, freelance writing, entrepreneurship.
She has worked as a marketing executive for a Fortune 500 company and created two small businesses. She created highly acclaimed fundraising events: Getting Our Just Desserts; Wine, Women & Jazz. She established a non-profit - the Arizona Women’s Partnership, Inc. which has provided over $130,000 in grants to charities that assist underserved women and children at risk in AZ. Cullison published her first work of non-fiction, Daughters of the American Dream (c) 2000 under her maiden name Paula Giangreco.
Her extensive travels have taken her to Europe, Scandinavia, Turkey, Africa, China, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Canada. Leadership in the UN Assn has enabled her to participate in international conferences. She has appeared on numerous TV programs and addressed various civic and business organizations.
